Dino Kale, also known as Tuscan Kale, Lacinato Kale, Black Kale, or Cavolo Nero Kale is black and has green leaves. It grows 2 to 3 feet tall. Dino kale gets its name from its bumpy leaves that apparently feel like a dinosaur's skin. Because of its taste, "slightly bitter [and] earthy", it has been called "the darling of the culinary world". Dino Kale can grow in any type of garden. Kale is one of the healthiest plants because it provides you with some special cholesterol-lowering benefits.
I hope you enjoy learning how the garden changes throughout the school year.
